Marvelous Magnets

Here is what we will make in the Marvelous Magnets class! The details on the class are below the photos. I am offering this class 2 different times this month.

Marvelous Magnets-Thursday, January 14 at 7pm  Class Fee-$30.00
We will make magnets using Designer Series Paper (your choice) and glass pebbles. We will also decorate a coordinating tin as an adorable box to keep or give the magnets in. You will pick your Designer Series Paper and go home with the rest of the pack of paper for you to keep. You MUST RSVP by January 5 so I have time to order supplies in. Class Fee is $30 and includes DSP for you to keep, the tin, and all other supplies.

We will make an adorable little treat tin, decorated, and containing yummy Hershey's Nuggets! Please RSVP by January 20. Class Fee is $15.

Sale-A-Bration Open House- Friday, January 22 at 6:30-8:30pm FREE
 Drop in to make a fun little card, enjoy some treats, and view the newest products! New Punch Design Announced

Stampin Up made this big announcement as well:
Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches!

A few features of the new punch style:

• Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
• Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
• Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
• Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large
• New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use.
• Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog
• Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners
• larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use
• Available in an exclusive Stampin' Up! color

Part of Stampin' Up!'s commitment to providing demonstrators and customers with the very best crafting tools includes the belief in what we call continuous improvement. Essentially what this means is that even if something works very well, but we see a chance to improve it, we will work to make it even better. While new punch designs will be in the new body style, existing designs will remain in the existing body style for now.

Starting with stamps in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and the 2010 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, Stampin' Up! now offers our exclusive stamp art in both traditional wood-mount, and the new clear-mount option. (Remember-Stampin Up is NOT discontinuing the traditional wood-mount stamps, just adding the clear mount option)

Our new clear-mount rubber stamps are the result of extensive research with the intent to maintain the very best image quality in the stamping industry, while at the same time offering the ease-of-use and storability inherent in repositionable clear-mount rubber stamps.

Ribbon Share Club Coming in January!

The Stampin Up Mini Catalog will be coming out soon! I have seen the catalog and the products are YUMMY! I am really excited about some of the satin ribbon they are coming out! It is 5/8" wide Satin Ribbon in the following colors:

It will be $8.95 for a spool of 15 yards. Not a bad price unless you want ALL the colors! If you want all the colors, consider doing a ribbon share! For only $20 you will get 3 yards of EACH of the 9 colors! I will order Jan 5, so please let me know and pay by Dec 31! There are many uses for these ribbons not just on your cards and scrapbooks as embellishments but in a variety of other craft projects so please let your friends know about this product share as they may be interested even if they are not stampers! :)

Ornament Punch Elf

Love this little guy, there are several floating around on stamp sites around the internet! we'll make this thursday night at 7 as the 4th card in our Gettin Punchy class! He does have a smile, it's just not showing up that well in the picture

Gettin Punchy-Ornament Punch

Here are 3 of the 4 cards we will make Thursday, Dec 10 at 7pm for the Gettin Punchy class! Cost is $20 and includes the cards and the ornament punch.  You can still sign up and come make the cards and receive your punch "late".  Also, I've had to reschedule my nugget box class so we are going to make those this Thursday at 7 during the Gettin Punchy class.  If you couldn't come on Tues but can come Thurs, let me know by Wed night that you want to sign up! December Stamp Class Schedule

Stamping on Candles-Thursday, December 3 at 7pm. Cost is $12.  You can view the sample here. Please RSVP by Tuesday, December 1.

Giant Nugget Box (photo coming soon)-Tuesday, December 8 at 7pm. Cost is $15.  We will make a cute compartmentalized box that will hold 4 3x3 cards and 3 hershey nugget bars! Participants will also receive the directions so they can make more at home! RSVP by Monday, December 7.

Gettin Punchy-Thursday, December 10 at 7pm-This month we will focus on the Ornament Punch featured in the mini catalog.  We'll make some fun projects with the punch and you'll receive the punch at class to keep!  Cost is $20.  You must RSVP by 5pm on November 30 so I can place the order for the punches! Note: Cost for the punch alone (not including s/h and tax) is $15.95 so this is a fantastic deal for you!

Season of Friendship Frame-Monday, December 14 at 7pm-We will make an adorable decorative frame using the Season of Friendship Stamp Set.  Cost of the class is $30 and includes the stamp set for you to keep! See the photo below.  Please RSVP by December 3.

So far I have 4 people now who have expressed a definite interest in starting up a Stamp Club. We need 2 more so we are almost there!  Stamp Club will meet once a month to make projects and learn new techniques.  Each person will also place a $25 SU order, and we will rotate the hostess benefits among the members. Gettin Punchy-5 Petal Flower

Here are 3 of the 4 projects for the Gettin Punchy class tomorrow night at 7pm.  We will be focusing on the 5-petal flower punch! Exciting news coming

There are some exciting new products and additions coming to the SU line in January!  I cannot wait to share this info with you when I am able to!  AND, Sale-A-Bration 2010 is coming soon! It will run January 5 through March 31, 2010. Choices for your cards will be made available on my blog. You can mix and match from 6 card designs! This is a wonderful way to show your friends and family you care. Everyone loves a handmade card! RSVP By November 13, as this class will require me to do a lot of prep work! ;) 

Please let me know by tomorrow (Friday, Nov 13) if you plan to come to this class AND which cards you want to make and how many of each. You can mix and match how ever you want to equal 20 cards! But, I need to know so that I can order the paper in! :)

Here is what we will make on Thursday at 7pm. We will make 4 cards using the Serene Snowflakes set on page 26 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. This is a BEAUTIFUL stamp set! The stamp set for you to keep is included in the class fee of $25.00. (envelopes can be purchased for .25 a piece at the class if you need them). The stamp set alone would cost you $20.95 plus tax/shipping so this is a fantastic deal for you! You can do this class as a "mail order" where I will make the cards for you and send them, along with the stamp set to you for an additional $5.00. 

You may still sign up for this class, however, your stamp set will come in at a later date.  Let me know by Wednesday because I will be cutting paper on Wednesday! :)

Here are the first 2 options for the Christmas Card Stamp A Stack Class! This class will be held on Monday, November 30 at 7pm. You will make 20 cards for $25 (envelopes included).   You will be able to mix and match, choosing from 5 card designs. Here are the first two:

This one is a design by Andrea Walford. She has a fantastic blog here.  I don't think you can tell in the photo, but we will use the new Stampin Up Shimmer Paint on this card. I am now in love with this product. Here is some great info about the shimmer paint.

Thankful Thoughts Class Projects

Here are the projects for the Thankful Thoughts Class.  Attendees will make 2 of each card.  This class is being offered Tuesday, November 3 at 7pm and Saturday, November 7 at 10:00am (or you can do it as a Wild Card Class). Please RSVP for this class by Monday, November 2 at 5pm so that I have enough time to cut the paper for this class that night! Cost is $10.00. And don't forget to RSVP for the Stamping On Candles class!

Thankful Thoughts Class-CLARIFICATION

I first posted the Thankful Thoughts Class as occurring at 2 different days plus a Saturday. I need to clarify! Here are the dates that the Thankful Thoughts Class will be offered, and I am very sorry for any confusion!

Tuesday, November 3 at 7pm OR
Saturday, November 7 at 10am

Of course you can also do this class as a Wild Card Class if neither of the above dates work for you. Read about the Wild Card Class here. Cost for the Thankful Thoughts Class is $10 for 8 harvest/Thanksgiving themed cards (4 styles, 2 of each)

Stamping on Candles Class-Tuesday, November 10 at 7pm

I am so excited about this class! On Tuesday, November 10 at 7pm we will be Stamping on Candles! This is a super fun technique and once you learn it, it goes very fast and easy. These are wonderful gift ideas and the possibilities are endless after you know how to make these!!!  Please let me know by Tuesday, November 3 if you plan to attend. Cost is $12 to come learn the technique and make a candle! Additional candles can be made for $5 each. Here is what we will make:

 

I used the stamp set Pocket Silhouettes and One of a Kind in the colors Rich Razzleberry (LOVE IT) and Old Olive.

Also, remember that i need to know by the end of today if you plan to attend the Serene Snowflakes Class. This class is being offered Thursday, November 12 at 7pm or Saturday, November 14 at 10am.  You will receive the stamp set (picture below) and you will make 4 cards using the stamp set.  This is a beautiful stamp set to add to your collection! Cost is $25 for the stamp set and class projects.

"Wild Card" Class Added to November Schedule

I have added one more class option to the November schedule!

On Saturday, November 14 at 7pm you may come for a Wild Card Class. That means you can let me know what class you want to do from the November schedule, and I will have the supplies ready for you!  For instance, let's say you really want to do the Serene Snowflakes class that is being offered on Thursday, November 12, but you are busy on that day. You can choose to do this class on Saturday, November 14 at 7pm during the Wild Card Class...it's your free pass to do a class that you want to do but doesn't work in your schedule! Let me know if you have any questions.

When you sign up, be sure to tell me which class you want to do!  Please RSVP by November 6.

Trick Or Treat Halloween Cards and Treat Holders-October 24 at 7:30pm

First off, I would like to thank the ladies who came to the Thinking Trendy Trees class.  We had a great time and made some fantastic cards! So much fun. 

Here are the projects we will make in a week and a half at the Trick Or Treat Halloween Cards and Treat Holders Class.  The class will be on Saturday, October 23 at 7:30pm.
