I am back from the Stampin Up Convention in Salt Lake City and am just overflowing with ideas, samples, pictures, and excitement! It was a great time of learning, stamping, and creating!

**I am attaching my schedule through December.  I know that it seems crazy early to be thinking about Christmas, but not in the crafting world so you will notice many Christmas card classes on the schedule!  People LOVE to receive a handmade card, especially around the holidays!  Also, please note that if you would like a private class for you and your friends, I am happy to customize and teach a private class for you and your friends.  You get the group together, I will prepare the class and supplies! :)  Contact me if you are interested in setting one up!

Saturday, November 10, 10am-noon, Super Scrapbooking! $20.  We will make 2 two-page spread scrapbook pages (4 pages total).  This is great for all levels.  I know I want to get started on my scrapbooks and this is a perfect time to get started together! I will have all your supplies and layouts prepared and you just have to assemble! Prepayment for this class is required at sign up.

November 12, 7pm—Christmas Card club--Assemble! We will assemble our Christmas cards!  Your cards will be done! And you have plenty of time to address the envelopes and write that Christmas letter!

December 3, 7pm, Card Crazy,  “Cards and Cocoa,” $10 or free with an order ($25 minimum).  We will make 4 Christmas Cards and play with the new scented embossing powder!  Hot Cocoa will be served as well!

December 11, 7pm, Sassy Salutations Stamp A Stack, $25.  You will use 2 packages of the Dahlia embellishments and the Sassy Salutations Stamp Set to make 5 cards.  Leftover Dahlias will be yours to keep! These are super fun embellishments to have on hand!!!  Prepayment for this class is required at sign up.  Club members receive $5 off this class.

Celebrate Mother's and Father's Card Class, May 3 at 7pm

Just uploaded photos for this weeks class, celebrate mothers and fathers. Class will be on thursday may 3 at 7pm for $12 to make two cards of each of the 4 designs. I designed these to easily change the greeting and will have alternative greetings and words available for those who don't have a mom or dad to send a card to this mothers/fathers day. Retiring Accessories List 2012

Below are the retiring accessories.  Remember these are available on a "while supplies last" basis so order ASAP if your favorites are retiring! Some items are even discounted!

 Stampin Up will be rolling out new ink pads with the new catalog.  The colors will remain but the pads will now be firm foam pads.  The will retain the same flip top design but will provide better ink coverage, light tap stamping (you won't have to work so hard to get your stamp covered in ink), the pad will stay juicer for longer.  There will also be labels you can use at the front of the pad.  Sounds like solid images will stamjp better and ink will absorb into the cardstock evenly and dry quickly.

Also, please note that the craft ink will now only be available in white and black

In addition, please note the following about the new catalog:
Only select Stampin' Write Markers will be available individually (Stampin' Write Markers in color collections will continue to be offered)
12" x 12" Textured Card Stock will no longer be offered
12" x 12" Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections

RETIRING STAMP SET LIST IS HERE!

I have attached the Retiring List! This is your LAST chance to purchase the stamp sets on this list. It is quite long this year due to Stampin' Up revamping the catalog. There should be a big breath of fresh air with many new stamp sets, but it is always hard to say goodbye to our favorite sets! Mark your calendar, the retiring accessories and Decor Elements (which are while supplies last) will be released on April 25. I recommend your order early once the retiring accessories list is released.

REMEMBER the attached Retiring stamps are available through May 31 so don't miss your chance to order those sets you have been drooling over all year long! :)

March and April Class Schedule

Remember that Sale A Bration continues! Here are my March and April Classes:
March 13, 7pm, Tea Shoppe Stamp A Stack, $12. we will make 8 cards (2 of 4 designs) using the new Tea Shoppe Stamp Set! The top right one was inspired by Mary Fish.  The bottom right one has a bookmark at the front of the card that can be slid out!

March 20, 7pm, Simply Sent Create and Keep, $20. We will use the new Create and Keep kit to make 10 cards, a box, and dividers fo ryour box. Your class also includes your choice of a package of rhinestones or pearls so you can add some "bling" as you wish to your cards! This is a wonderful beginners class and would also make a great gift! YOU MUST RSVP BY MARCH 8 so I have time to order the kits in!

April 17, 7pm, Big Shot Class, $20. Time to get creative using the Big Shot die cutting machine! Pics to come...have to narrow it down some!

April 26, 7pm, Easy Events Stamp A Stack (rescheduled), $12.  I had to reschedule this one due to illness.  We will make 8 cards using the stamp set Easy Events. A card for every occasion!
